Notes From the Kitchen
- There are a wide variety of different recipes available out there as some people like to add in peppers, onions, or other ingredients.
- They can be baked, broiled, grilled, or fried depending on your individual preferences on how you like them prepared and your level of comfort and cooking skills.
- If you are serving these for a large party, you may want to make these in smaller shapes. The recipe will not be any different other than the size that you choose to make them – though you may want to watch on cooking time since there is the possibility they may cook a little more faster since they are a little bit more smaller.
- This dish can be served either hot or cold, though typically it is served hot. You can serve with a dipping sauce, or they also taste excellent plain.
- If serving mini crab cakes on a platter or tray, you may want to garnish with fresh lemon wedges and parsley for a nice decorative touch.
